If you visit the city of Mstislavl, you will definitely be directed to beautiful churches and churches, advised to visit the local museum of local lore and Castle Hill. Castle Hill is surrounded by numerous ravines and hills. And each of them has its own name and its own history. At the foot of the Castle Hill itself, the Zdorovets stream flows and there is a natural monument - a spring called the Kagalny Well. Once in the old days, local Jews used to carry water from this source to sell to the city, this explains the origin of the name of the source. And another hypothesis says that the word "cagal" means common, that is, for everyone. Not far from the spring in Yar there is a memorial dedicated to local Jews who were exterminated by the Nazis during the war.

In 2014, the improvement of the Kagalny well took place and an Orthodox chapel was built here in honor of the Tupichevskaya Mother of God. On the outskirts of the city there was once an Orthodox Tupichevsky monastery of the 17th - 19th centuries. But the monastery has not survived to our time and the local dairy factory is now located on that place. And that's how the local community decided to honor the miraculous icon of the Tupichevskaya Mother of God.

In the Cahal well, you can collect drinking water from a source and plunge into the font. From the Kagalny well, it is necessary to climb uphill along Lenin Street. The mountain is very steep and it is quite problematic to climb it in winter. Count your strength!
