Mogilev. Parish Church of St. Casimir.
The Mogilev Parish Church of St. Casimir was built at the beginning of the 17th century on the foundation of Sigismund III, King of the Commonwealth of Nations. There were several altars in the interior of the church. At the beginning of the 19th century, after a fire, the church was rebuilt in the style of classicism. The brick one-nave building is rectangular in plan with side extensions, a pentagonal altar apse and a two-towered main facade. Choirs, where the 7-voice organ was located, were supported by 4 wooden pillars. There was a manor for parishioners and priests at the church. One of the parishioners was the engineer Mikalai Yastrzhembski (1808 - 1874). After the revolution, a warehouse was built in the church. In 1990, excavations were carried out near the church, where burials were discovered. Under the church, there are dungeons. The building is partially preserved. It is possible to restore the church in the future.
