Mir. Church of St. George the Victorious.

In the ancient town of Mir in Korelichi district there is a castle of the Radziwill magnates and many more architectural and ancient monuments. If you enter the world from the M-1 highway along Tankistov Street, then on the right side of the hill at the local cemetery you can see the stone Orthodox church, which was consecrated in honor of St. George.

The temple was built of brick during the Russian Empire in 1910. The church is considered to be attributed to the Trinity Church, which is located in the center of the town on the former Shopping Square. During the Soviet Union, the church was closed and the building was abandoned. In 1992, the monument was repaired and re-consecrated.

The monument was erected in a retrospective Russian style. It consists of three main architectural parts: the vestibule, the prayer hall and the apse. The vestibule is decorated with a shield with two arched windows. The entrance is made like an arched opening with a keel-shaped frame.

The main volume is covered with a tent roof on which a wooden drum with an onion tent is built. The side facades of the main volume are pierced by three arched windows. The church is active. There is a stone gates in front of the cemetery.
