The water tower is an interesting example of civil architecture of the early 20th century.

The water tower is an interesting example of civil architecture of the early 20th century. It was built in a complex with the railway workers' hospital (1912-1914), which still functions today, located on the opposite side of Zhukov Avenue. The structure includes three octagonal tiers decorated with pilasters, ornamental belts and various niches.

The lower tier is the base. The second tier is characterized by wide edges separated by large arched niches. The third tier is made in a blind design. Individual elements, such as stylized loophole windows, refer to medieval defensive architecture. The walls are up to one and a half meters thick. The red brick of the building has darkened over time, and the upper part stands out in a different shade due to the restoration work.

In the 20th century, the tower provided water to the buildings of the railway hospital, depot and station. In its upper part there were two tanks with a capacity of 80 tons of water each.

Until the 1990s, the building belonged to the Belarusian Railway, and after that it passed into the hands of a private owner. According to rumors, a coffee shop is planned to open in the building of the former water tower.
