The park is an open-air museum of stones.

The idea of creating this park-museum belonged to academician Gavrila Ivanovich Goretsky. Thanks to the efforts of scientists from the Institute of Geochemistry and Geophysics of the Belarusian SSR, the boulder Museum was established in 1985. In 1989, it was classified as a natural monument of national importance.

The museum's collection includes more than 2,000 samples of boulders and rocks collected during the expedition from various regions of the country. Each exhibit has its own history and unique characteristics that give an idea of the geological past of the region.

The open-air exposition consists of six so-called "halls": the central hall, in which massive boulders indicate large settlements - "Map of Belarus"; the hall dedicated to the appearance of boulders in Belarus - "Feeding provinces"; as well as the halls "Alley of Boulders", "Shapes of boulders", "Petrographic Collection", "A Stone in a Man's Life".

All expositions demonstrate the diversity of geological formations and are of cognitive interest to a wide range of people. The exhibition halls also serve as a park where children enjoy playing and adults spend time.

The Boulder Museum can be visited at any time. It is conveniently located and easily accessible, making it a great place for family vacations and individual visits. This is a very interesting and unusual place.

The Boulder Museum in Minsk provides a unique opportunity to see visual evidence of the country's geological past and opens up an interesting look at the nature of Belarus. This is not just a museum, but a space where the history of the Earth comes to life through stones.
