In this museum you will definitely learn all about the rich history of this amazing estate.
The manor is famous for its stylish architectural design, is an outstanding example of classical architecture and is a sophisticated example of noble life of the 18th and 19th centuries. Around the estate we see a park with picturesque alleys, ponds and landscape elements that have been preserved since those times.
The atmosphere of the secular life of the past centuries has been recreated in the halls of the manor. Here you can explore the authentic restored interiors of the 19th century: tiled stoves and stucco decor, antique furniture and art objects of the corresponding era from private collections and the collections of the Museum of the History of the city of Minsk. The interiors feature paintings and graphics from the collections of the National Art Museum of the Republic of Belarus.
The historical section of the exposition introduces the stages of formation and development of Loshitsa. It is known that the first written mention of the Loshitsa estate dates back to 1557. Over the more than 400-year history, the Loshitsa has been owned by many famous representatives of noble families, including the Drutsky-Gorsky, Prushinsky, and Lubansky. One of the most favorable periods was the years from 1884 to 1913, when the estate was transformed into one of the best provincial farms and became the center of secular life.
An exhibition "Wheel of Time" has been organized in the outbuilding, where objects of urban and rural life of the late 19th and mid—20th centuries are presented: samovars, irons, copper utensils, vehicles, objects of weaving craft, the interiors of the cook's room and dining room are recreated.
The Loshitskaya Manor Museum hosts excursions and exhibitions dedicated to the culture and art of Belarus. The museum actively cooperates with educational institutions, holding lectures, master classes and temporary thematic exhibitions.
The Loshitsa Estate occupies an important place in the cultural life of Minsk. It attracts a large number of tourists.
By visiting the Loshitskaya Manor Museum, you get the opportunity not only to enjoy the beautiful architecture and the surrounding landscape of the manor complex, but also to better understand the history and culture of Belarus, plunging into the atmosphere of the past. In this museum you will definitely learn all about the rich history of this amazing estate.
