A unique museum with more than 7,000 exhibits dedicated to the history of money and money circulation.

The museum has collections of coins, banknotes and other banknotes from different countries and time periods. Visitors can see both ancient and modern money, as well as learn about its meaning and history. In addition to coins and banknotes, the museum's collection includes coupons, bonds, etc.

Interestingly, the exhibition presents only ORIGINAL items!

Here it is possible to trace step by step the appearance of the first monetary funds more than 1,500 years ago during the Roman Empire; the formation of the financial system during the period of the INCL and its improvement over time. There is an opportunity to learn in detail about the appearance of the first paper money on the territory of Belarus, as well as about the creation and development of the financial system of the independent Republic of Belarus.

The museum presents coins of the Roman Empire, the Arab Caliphate, medieval Europe, the Grand Duchy of Lithuania, the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth, the Russian Empire, the Republic of Poland of the interwar period, German occupation coins, as well as the Soviet Union and the Republic of Belarus.

A separate exposition is devoted to the collection of commemorative coins of the National Bank of the Republic of Belarus.

The museum offers interactive exhibitions where visitors can not only observe, but also participate in various games and quizzes related to finance and economics. The touchscreens installed in the museum help to get more detailed information about the sections of the exposition and individual exhibits.

The Groshi Museum holds lectures and master classes for schoolchildren and students on the history of money.

In the museum you can buy paper money, as well as souvenirs related to the theme of money - magnets, coin holders, coins for luck.

The Groshi Money Museum is located in the center of Minsk, which makes it accessible to tourists and locals. It is not only an interesting place to visit, but also an important educational resource. It attracts both children and adults by offering a unique perspective on the world of money.
