Mikelevshchina. Church of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

In the village of Mikelevshchina, which is located on the road between the bridges and Shchuchin, a stone church of the Blessed Virgin Mary has been built. The Catholic church was built on the outskirts of the village at the local cemetery in 1823 during the time of the Russian Empire. The church is stone, built of brick and rubble stone. The shrine was created at the expense of Bogumil Butovt-Andreikovich. The church existed as a branch of the parish in Mosty. The church was consecrated in September 1826. In 1878, the building was reconstructed – a narthex and a tower were added to the main volume.

In 1911, the church in Mikelevshchina received the status of an independent parish. During this period, the church had 1,300 believers in its parish. After the Great Patriotic War, the plebian building was taken away from the church, and the temple itself was given the status of an architectural monument. The Catholic shrine was not closed in Soviet times.

The monument has a quadrangle in plan and is covered with a gable roof. The interior has frescoes: images of evangelists, an architectural cornice with angels.

The church has three two-tiered altars, which are depicted on the altar wall in the form of an illusory painting.

The main altar has an icon: the first tier is of John the Baptist and Jesus, and on top is of God the Creator Appearance. The left side altar has an icon of St. Judas Tadeusz and a sculpture of the Mother of God of Fatima, with the Mother of God of Czestochowo at the top. The right altar is an icon of St. Anthony and a sculpture of the Sacred Heart of the Lord Jesus, and at the top is the Mother of God of Ostrobramskaya.
