Description
The Skinder estate was founded in the village of Mikhailovshchina at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries. Unfortunately, only the remains of the park and some outbuildings, including the building of the former distillery, have survived to this day.

The brewery of the Skinder estate in the Mikhailov region is an example of industrial architecture of that era.
In the Mikhailov region, from the Skinder estate to our time, such outbuildings as a brewery and an alcohol storage, the ruins of two gates have been preserved. The remains of the park have also been preserved here, among which stands out an oak tree with a circumference of more than five meters.
The manor's brovar, dating from 1907, is an example of industrial architecture of that era. The owner of this building, Czeslaw Skinder, built the brovar in 1907 and started producing alcohol here. During the First World War, the wounded were treated in the family homes, and later a flax processing plant was opened in the building of the former distillery. During the Great Patriotic War, the Germans held prisoners here.
Today, these remnants of outbuildings in the vicinity of a small village in the Grodno region remain an important example of industrial architecture of their time. Unfortunately, they are not in the best condition.
They are trying to find an owner for a unique 19th-century building: the architectural pearl is periodically put up for auction on the BUTB-Property electronic platform. The new owner will have to carry out a major renovation here.
