The Church of St. Paraskeva of Serbia in Lyadovici is a unique Orthodox church built of wood in the center of the village in the second half of the 18th century.
The Church of St. Paraskeva of Serbia has a rectangular three-nave basilica with truncated corners in the altar. The central nave, which is higher than the side ones, ends with a gable roof. The walls of the temple are vertically lined with boards and reinforced with beams, and also have rectangular and semicircular windows in the central nave. However, in 2008, the exterior of the church was ruined by plastic siding.
The interior of the church is divided into naves by four columns, and the apse was isolated and created in the 1830s. The three-tiered iconostasis is decorated with ornamental carvings, and the royal gates are carved with vine motifs, among which are six tablets with images of the four evangelists and the icon of the Annunciation.
The church is known for its artistic treasures, including the wooden sculpture of the 18th - 19th centuries "Crucifixion" and icons of the same time, such as "Savior Almighty", "Saint Panteleimon" and "Virgin of Mercy". The Uniate altar has been preserved behind the Orthodox iconostasis, which adds historical value to this temple.
St. Paraskeva's Church is included in the State List of Historical and Cultural Values of Belarus as an object of historical and cultural heritage of national importance. Despite the fact that in almost all sources this temple is attributed to the neighboring village of Opole, according to the modern administrative division it is located on the eastern outskirts of the village of Lyadovichi.
Thus, the Church of St. Paraskeva of Serbia is an important cultural and historical site that reflects the rich architectural and religious history of the region.
