Description
The building of the former agricultural school was built of brick. It was built in the village of Luzhesno in the early 20th century. The building contained elements of the Art Nouveau style. In September 1909, an agricultural school of the second stage was opened there, where land surveyors were trained.

The former agricultural school in Luzhesno.
The complex of the former agricultural school is located opposite the current building of the agricultural college in a green area among tall trees. The territory of the complex consists of a school and an administrative building.
The school is a two-storey stone L-shaped building with a small courtyard. The composition highlights a three-story corner part with an entrance, symmetrical grouping of openings, and complex shields. A tall pointed tent is located between them. The facades are painted in two colors. It still has white tiled stoves.
The administrative building is a one-story building in the courtyard. Previously, this picturesque two-story house with a hipped roof housed a secondary school, then the Luzhesnyansky Agricultural College named after F.A. Surganov.
Now it is an agricultural college at the Vitebsk Academy of Veterinary Medicine.
This is an interesting old building. It is well restored. There is a beautiful park nearby, where it is pleasant to walk. The Luzhesnyanka River, the arboretum and the Dvina River are also nearby.
