Lopushno. Chapel of St. Teresa.

In the town of Lopushno in the 19th century, the Piletskys were the owners. Theophilia Piletskaya married Onufriy Narkevich-Iodko. After his death, she married his younger brother Tamash. So the estate passed to the Narkevich-Iodko family. Then their son Roman married Maria and they had a daughter, Teresa, who died at the age of 15 at the end of the 19th century. In 1908, a stone chapel was erected on the outskirts of the forest where Teresa was buried. Maria and Roman were also buried in this chapel.

Roman Narkevich-Iodko, except for his deceased daughter Teresa, had no more children and therefore transferred his estate to his nephew, who was the son of his sister Wanda. Roman died in 1920.

In 1939, with the advent of Soviet power, the estate was confiscated. The palace burned down during the war. The manor and the palace were very beautiful and the famous photographer and local historian Jan Bulgak came here to study it.

The palace was a one-story stone building built in the early 19th century in the Empire style. The building had 20 rooms, including a library, an office, and a large hall. Each room was heated by a tiled stove. To date, only the chapel and the remains of outbuildings with a park remain from the estate.

The chapel is made of stone. It was built on a hill in the classical style. The facade is decorated with 4 Doric order columns.
