Lida. Historical and Art Museum.

The museum begins its history in May 1939 as the museum of the Polish Local History Society. In 1941, in the month of January, the museum began its work as a regional historical museum. Once again, the museum was opened in 1959 as a museum of local lore. The building of the former St. Joseph's Church of Public Relations was allocated for the institution. Then the museum was moved to the annex of the church, as the planetarium is located in the central part. In 1999, a new building was transferred to the museum, which previously housed an art gallery and the Museum of Local lore and the art gallery were merged into the historical and art museum.

The exhibition presents archaeological finds from the Lida Castle and ancient settlements, ancient books and icons. The permanent exhibition "modern art of the region" presents the products of the Neman glass factory from Berezovka, tells about the artists and sculptors of Lidchina. The exhibition "Nature of Lidchina" offers to get acquainted with the diverse and unique world of nature of the Prineman region.

In recent years, a temporary exhibition "War. Victory. Memory", which tells about the genocide of the Belarusian people, about the events of the Great Patriotic War.

In September 2010, the opening of the House of Valentin Tavlay took place, where a memorial room of the writer was created. Lida Castle is also a branch of the museum, where in 2017 the exhibition "Lida Castle. Historical events and figures".
