Krivichi. The Church of St. Andrew and the monastery of the Trinitarians.

The Church of St. Andrew and the monastery of the Catholic Order of the Trinitarians were built in the village of Krivichi, Myadel district. The shrine is located on the main street on the way to Budslav, and therefore it is very easy to get to the monument.

The church was first built of wood during the time of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania in 1777 with the money of Andrei Ukolsky, who held the post of feeding Trotsky. Trinitarian monks from Galicia came to the church. The church was designed for six monks. After some time, the construction of a stone Catholic church began. And in 1796, a new church was built, which was consecrated in honor of St. Andrew.

At the beginning of the 19th century, during the time of the Russian Empire, the church was the center of the parish, and it had six chapels. There was a hospital at the monastery.

After the anti-Russian uprising of 1830-1831, the Trinitarian monastery was closed. In 1883, a rubble stone fence was built around the church. In 1907, the wooden floor in the church was replaced with tiles with geometric ornaments.

In Soviet times, the church worked.

The temple was built in the late Vilna Baroque style. The building is a single-nave basilica. There is a three-tiered bell tower above the entrance. The interior of the main altar is decorated in Baroque style with figures of Jesus, St. Paul, St. Peter, the Virgin Mary and John the Evangelist.

There is a memorial plaque in the church dedicated to the writer Jan Boreyko-Hodka, who was born in Krivichi in 1777.
