Kostenevichi. Church of the Immaculate Conception of the Virgin Mary.

The Church of Our Lady was built of stone in 1763 on the site of a former wooden church built in 1662. The wooden church was built by the Jesuit College and was consecrated in the name of Saint Ignatius Loyola.

The new church that we see now was built partly with donations from local residents. It is a type of church without an apse. The building of the church is simple and laconic, relatively small in size, has a rectangular shape. The main facade has a baroque pediment. This time the church was consecrated in honor of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary. In the interior of the church, the floor was laid with multi-colored mosaics, in the baroque altar there was a wonderful icon of the Most Holy Virgin Mary with precious stones and in a silver frame. Unfortunately, the original decoration of the altar has not survived.

After the Jesuit order was dissolved, the church came into the possession of the diocesan clergy.

Presumably, a wooden bell tower was built in the 19th century.

Today, the church contains a carved wooden altar made by one of the previous priests, as well as wooden chairs made by his own hands. There is also an old icon from 1915, "The Miracle of St. Antonio of Padua."

In 2013, in honor of the 250th anniversary of the church, a stamp was issued with an image of the church.
