Komsichi. The Church of the Nativity of the Virgin.

In the village of Komsichi, Kopyl district, there is a wooden Orthodox church, which was consecrated in honor of the Nativity of the Virgin. The temple was built in the west of the village at the local cemetery. The church was built during the Russian Empire in the 19th century, and was assigned to the Church of the Holy Trinity in the nearby town of Savichi.

After the revolution in Soviet times, the church was closed. In the 1930s, the building was adapted for a local club. During the Great Patriotic War, the shrine was again handed over to Orthodox believers. The building has been renovated. After the war, the church was closed again in 1957. The building was transferred for the economic needs of the local collective farm. A warehouse was opened in the temple.

The church was built in the traditions of Belarusian folk architecture. It has a longitudinal-axial composition. The church consists of three main parts: the vestibule, the prayer hall and the apse. A bell tower is built over the vestibule. A sacristy is attached to the altar. The main volume of the temple is covered with a four-pitched shingled roof. (A shingle is a thin small wooden board.)

To date, the temple is in a neglected state.
