The building of the former barracks in Kletsk is currently used as living quarters.

At the end of the 19th century, several barracks were built in Kletsk to house a cavalry regiment.

In 1924, by order of the Government of the Second Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth, the Border Guard Corps was established. A stone building was erected specifically for the officers' quarters, which has been preserved in the city to this day.

Due to the fact that in the period from 1921 to 1939, the Soviet-Polish border passed near Kletsk and many military men lived in the area, the barracks were used for a long period of time for their intended purpose. The garrison included buildings such as the battalion headquarters building, barracks, an armory, stables, and a fodder warehouse for horses. The barracks were one-story U-shaped buildings made of wood, brick and rubble.

After the Second World War, some of them were converted into residential buildings, and the headquarters building was used as an administrative building.

The architectural features of the building include elements characteristic of modernity: smooth lines, decorative details and a harmonious combination of functionality and aesthetics.

The barracks not only served military purposes, but also became an important part of the cultural and historical heritage of the region.

Today, the building is a symbol of Kletsk's historical past and attracts the attention of both locals and tourists interested in architecture and history. The preservation and restoration of such sites is essential for maintaining cultural identity and historical memory.

Currently, the buildings of the former barracks are used as living quarters.
