Kemelishki. The Church of the Nativity of the Virgin Mary.

The wooden Church of the Nativity of the Virgin Mary in its image adapts Neo-Gothic elements for wooden construction, which is an amazingly picturesque ensemble. The building also combines other styles.

The building reproduces the appearance of a stone basilica with three naves, a transept and two square towers on the main facade. The upper octagonal tiers of the towers are completed with sharp tents. The roof of the transept, which has two pitched planes, is lower than the main one and is comparable in height to the roof of the four-column porch at the main entrance. The increase in the height of the roofs and the romantic completion of the towers add expressiveness and diversity to the spatial composition. The windows have arched tops, and rhombic lunettes are located at the ends of the transept. The walls are lined horizontally, with a basement panel, and reinforced with screeds. The interior is separated by six columns. On the south side of the temple there are stone gates and a wooden three-tiered bell tower covered with a four-pitched tent with a thin pointed signature.

An interesting wooden church of the 18th century with a neat surrounding area. It looks great and is in good condition.  There is an active body in it. Portraits of the nobles who built this church are also preserved inside. The church is also known for its magnificent stained glass windows and unique decorative elements that attract attention.
