Novye Khatkovtsy. The remains of the Yelsky estate.

In the village of Khatkovtsy Novye, Volkovysk district, several outbuildings and a park from the former Yelsky estate have been preserved. Once upon a time, during the time of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania, the place belonged to the Yundils, the Belozors, and then the Yelskys.

The first owner of the manor from the Yelsky family was Adam Yelsky. His father is Anthony Yelsky, and his mother is Florentine Seguin. Adam Yelsky married Rosa Kobylinskaya and they have five daughters and four sons. After the division of the property, the estate in Khatkovtsy passed in 1814 to Felix Yelsky, who was a podkormiy of the Volkovysk district. Then his brother Tadeusz ran the place. Then it passed to his son Jozef, who died in 1879.

Since 1890, the estate was owned by Czeslaw, who married Helena from the Bulgak family. Then their daughter Jozefa Henrietta (1858-1934) was the owner. Her husband was a cousin, the famous financier Adam Yelsky (1838-1915).

In 1927, during the time of the Polish state, their daughters divided the estate into three parts. And the land at that time was 600 hectares. The estate passed to Yanina Vereshchaka (1885-1948), who lived with her husband in the Bolshoe Mozheikovo estate.

The manor was formed by the Yelsky family in the classical style on the site of an old manor house from the time of the Grand Duchy. In 1841, the estate had the following buildings: a palace, a brewery, two mills and outbuildings.

A park, a watermill and a dam, several stone outbuildings, and several in ruins have been preserved to this day.
