Ruins of the Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

The Assumption Church was built with funds from Count Khreptovich in the mid-19th century. It was built on the site of a small wooden church that was built in 1712 and destroyed during the Kastus Kalinowski uprising.

The stone church had traditional Orthodox church architecture in the retrospective Russian style, two onion domes, and a wide bell tower with 7 bells.

Services were held in the temple even during World War II. But it was badly damaged in 1944. After the war, the temple was not restored, it was closed. Local residents began to dismantle it and take it apart for bricks, the temple gradually deteriorated over a long period of time.

Today, only ruins remain in its place. They are preserved and fenced off, the area around looks quite inspected.

In 2004, a small wooden church was built next to the Assumption Church. The building has features typical of folk architecture. Services are held in this church today.

If you walk around the village, in the center you will see a monument dedicated to the abolition of serfdom in 1861. Next to it is also a monument to Maxim Bogdanovich's father - Adam Bogdanovich, an ethnographer and historian. He was a native of this village and wrote a book with stories about Kholopenichi, about trips to the local church.
