Grodno. Thalheim Doctor's House.

In the historical center of Grodno, among the ancient narrow streets, an unusual mansion has been preserved to this day, which in Grodno is called the Thalheim house of the doctor. The building is located at the intersection of Karbyshev Street and Lenin Street.

The building was built in 1911. This house was created according to an individual project for the family of doctor Alexander Thalheim. The house was built taking into account the specifics of the doctor's work. There were reception rooms and a study on the ground floor. There were even two hospital rooms with four beds each. And the second floor was intended for the owner of the building and his family. The room was accessible through two entrances: one was made for the doctor's visitors, and the other for the doctor's family.

The building is a monument in the Northern Art Nouveau style. It is a two-storey stone house with a basement. The building has a complex spatial composition. The facades are plastered. The basement basement is made of stone blocks.

The architectural dominant feature is a medium-sized volume with a tower located on a corner. The tower has three floors. From Karbyshev Street, the polychrome tiles in the lobby have been preserved in the interior.
