A unique attraction with the possibility of various excursions.

The length of the Mikashevichi quarry is 3 km, the width is 2 kilometers, the depth is 150 meters, and the total area is about six square kilometers. The granite deposit was discovered here in 1963. 10 years later, the first explosion was carried out, and in December 1975, the quarry was put into operation.

In 2018, the Granit RUPP Museum was opened.  It is open on weekdays from Tuesday to Friday. Here you can get acquainted with the history of the enterprise and its technological processes, examine the collection of rocks, as well as see an exposition with the remains of ancient prehistoric animals that lived in Belarus more than 100 thousand years ago. Videos about the company are also shown here. There is also a souvenir shop.

For those who wish, there is an opportunity to get to the observation deck of the Mikashevichi granite quarry, take part in a group tour "Profession - driver of a dump truck" or a sightseeing tour of the territory of RUPP Granit, and you can also take a ride in a BelAZ car.

It is very interesting to visit the observation deck, which offers an amazing view of the quarry: 45-ton BelAZ trucks work there and transport crushed stone, which from a height seem small and toylike, as well as waterfalls murmur, complementing the picturesque mountain landscape. The playground is fenced with a net and railings. On the observation deck, you can explore the granite quarry and learn the technology of building stone extraction. Then free time is provided, those who wish can take great photos against the background of the quarry.

During a sightseeing tour of the territory of RUPP Granit, you can take pictures against the background of a medieval-style castle, which was made of granite, as well as get acquainted with small architectural forms.

Mikashevich quarries are a unique place in Belarus, the scale of which is impressive.

Interesting, informative, impressive!
