Golovchitsy. The Gorvatt Estate.

The village of Golovchitsy has long been the possession of the Oskerok family, then passed to General Yakov Siverse, and in 1825 Stanislav Gorvatt bought Golovchitsy, who built a family estate here. By his order, the huge wooden house in the classical style located here was demolished. A two-storey stone manor house was built in its place. The entrance to it was fixed by gates — large pylons with lanterns on top. A distinctive feature of the house was the identical design of the front and rear facades. During the time of the Horvatts, a home chapel was built here.

The history of the estate is connected with the Gorvatt family, which was a famous landowner family. In different periods of its existence, the manor served not only as a residence, but also as a center of cultural life. Various social events took place here, including balls, exhibitions and meetings with famous personalities of the time.

Over time, the estate has experienced difficulties, but in recent years efforts have begun to restore and preserve this historical monument. Today, the architectural features of the estate include symmetrical lines, columns and decorative elements that give the building a majestic appearance. The estate is surrounded by a picturesque park with ponds, where rare trees and flowering plants grow, which creates an atmosphere of tranquility and privacy.

Now there is a paramedic and obstetric center in the building of the estate.
