The Foino post station of the 19th century is a valuable object of historical and cultural heritage.

The postal complex in Foino, located near Mogilev, was built in the middle of the 19th century according to one of the standard projects published in 1843. It is a one-story building with massive walls and a symmetrical layout. The building stands out for its isolation and two symmetrical gates. The exterior of the main building retains the original wooden window frames and a wrought-iron canopy over the entrance.

The main building, the wing and the stone fence have survived to this day. The interior of the main building of the postal station has preserved authentic wooden frames and a wrought-iron canopy over the entrance. Elements of the ancient road infrastructure have been preserved near the station, which makes it possible to imagine what postal routes looked like in the past.

It is known that the great poet A.S. Pushkin stayed at this station during his trip to the southern exile.

The Foino post station is a valuable historical and cultural heritage site. Visiting this place allows you to feel the atmosphere of a bygone time and contributes to a deeper understanding of the development of infrastructure and the importance of such facilities in the life of society. The tour to the Foynenskaya postal station will be interesting for both adults and children, as well as for anyone who wants to get in touch with the historical heritage of Mogilev region.
