St. Anna's Church in Dzerzhinsk is a historical and architectural monument, one of the oldest Catholic wooden churches in the Minsk region.

The construction of the first wooden church, dated 1453, is considered to be the first reliable mention of Dzerzhinsk in written sources. However, due to the use of wood, the temple repeatedly suffered from fires and was rebuilt.

St. Anne's Church is a remarkable example of ancient wooden architecture, which is a three–nave basilica with two towers on the facade. In the past, the temple was called God's Protection. The wooden structure of the temple required constant reconstructions. Initially, an altar with an icon of the Virgin Mary of the 18th century was located in the center.

The modern church building that we see today was built at the end of the 18th century. It combines elements of various architectural styles, including Baroque and Classicism, which gives it a unique look.

St. Anna's Church functioned until 1945, when religious repression began, affecting this temple as well. After the church was closed, the building was used as a regional House of Culture, and later a music school was located within its walls.

The relics were preserved by the faithful until 1991, when the temple was returned to the community. The doors of the church were reopened to the parishioners, which allowed the revival of spiritual life in this historic place.

In 1994, restoration was carried out, and a garden with an altar of the Virgin Mary was created, consecrated in honor of St. Anna.
