Dubrovo. Adamarin Brewery and Folwark.
In the village of Dubrovo, and some write the name as Dubrova, Molodechno district, there are several ancient monuments: a settlement, a Catholic church, an Orthodox church and a brewery. Throughout history, various well-known representatives of the wealthy nobility and magnates in Belarus have been the owners here.
In the 19th century, the Khmara family built their estate, of which nothing remains to our time, except a church and a brewery. A crypt has been created in the church, where several tribes of the Khmara family found their rest. And on the outskirts of the village near the reservoir there is a stone brewery.
The brewery is stone, built at the turn of the 19th – 20th centuries from rubble stone and red brick. The building is two-storeyed with an elevated central part having high lancet windows. The brewery is somewhat similar to the royal palace.
Several other outbuildings have been preserved in the village: one building is in a dilapidated state, also built of brick and stone, and the other is adapted for a residential building.
Next to Dubrovo was the Adamarin folwark, where prominent Belarusian scientists Benedict and Vladislav Dybovsky were born. In the village of Dubrovo, a memorial plaque to Benedict Dybovsky (1833-1930) was installed at the local school, where it is written: "in the Adamarin folwark near the village of Dubrovo in 1833, Benedict Ivanovich Dybovsky was born, an active participant in the uprising of 1863, a prominent biologist. Academician.". There is a museum of local lore at the school.
