Church of the Intercession of the Most Holy Theotokos.

The architecture of the temple is made in the classical style with elements of a retrospective Russian trend. The central part of the structure has a cruciform shape, topped by a dome on an octagonal drum, and the side risalites are completed with low shields. The window and door openings are decorated with arched archivolts. Adjacent to the apse is a rectangular administrative building.

After the uprising of 1863-1864, the Russian authorities allocated funds for the construction of Orthodox churches in Belarus. Initially, it was planned to build a church in Malashkovichi, where the temple burned down, but local officials decided to build it in Dovsk, arguing that it had the status of a volost center.

The temple was built on the site of an old church, famous since 1836, and consecrated in 1864 in honor of the Intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

In 1935, after the arrest of the priest, the church was closed, using the building for household needs. During the war, services resumed, but in 1950 the church was closed again, turning it into warehouses, a shop and a restaurant.

In July 1990, the building was returned to the Orthodox community. Among the shrines here is a fragment of the relics of John Kormyansky, an icon of the twelve feasts of the late 18th century, and an image of the Savior from a burned-out church in Stary Krivsk.

In the late 1990s and in 2007, the temple was damaged by fires.

Today the temple is active. There is a Museum of Orthodoxy attached to it.
