Dolnaya Ruta. Church of All Saints.

In the Korelichi district there is a place with a beautiful name Dolnaya Ruta, where the stone Orthodox Church of All Saints was built. The place is located on the way between Korelichi and Novogrudok to the left of the highway. There are two towns there, which are separated by a small river Ruta: Gornaya Ruta and Dolnaya Ruta.

The church was built in 1935 in the middle of the village near the road. It should be noted that during this period, Western Belarus was part of the Polish state from 1921, after the Riga Peace and until 1939, before the advent of Soviet power.

According to architecture researchers, the Dolnaya Ruta church is a prime example of the successful stylization of Byzantine forms and the rational use of the qualities of new materials. The artistic image in the church was formed with the help of pure planar volumes, creating a dynamic relationship of individual forms that are easy to read.

The building has one nave covered by a hip roof. The temple is covered with a bulbous, multi-faceted dome on an octagon. Above the vestibule is a two-tiered bell tower. A portico is attached to the tower, which is supported by two round columns. There is an onion dome on the drum above the prayer hall.
