Dobrush is a city of bridges. The oldest bridge in Dobrusha is the Gorbaty (Humpback) Bridge.

The small Iput river, breaking into numerous branches, forms islands and outflows. Bridges were built to get from one part of Dobrush to another. As the city grows and develops, so does the number of bridges. Bridges in the city vary in design, size, and the role they play in creating an image of the city as unique and special.

Historically, mass bridge construction in Dobrush dates back to the end of the 19th century, when it was decided to build a paper mill here. At the same time, the first hydroelectric power plant in the Russian Empire appeared in Dobrush. All the piles of the three main bridges of Dobrush are the remains of those first structures. They were made from larches. The tree was delivered directly from Siberia. Now these bridges have not only been reconstructed, but also their carrying capacity has been increased five times, and the width of the roadway has doubled.

The bridges, created at the end of the 19th century, carried the characteristic features of that period in terms of architectural creativity and ingenuity. Some of them are not only transport logistics, but also objects of cultural value of Dobrush.

The oldest bridge in Dobrush is the Gorbaty (Humpback) Bridge. It is located near the embankment between the paper mill and the square. Since the humpback bridge is located near the factory, it is consonant with it in terms of color scheme. The Old Bridge, the Red Bridge, the Gorbaty Bridge are the names of the same bridge. According to the inscription preserved on it, the bridge was built in 1927. In the same year, the town of Dobrush became known as the city. This bridge is a favorite place for citizens: weddings, name days, September 1st, Victory Day, dates, favorite photo shoots - everything happens there. The Red Bridge has long been a pedestrian bridge and a favorite among citizens and visitors of the city. The Gorbaty Bridge offers breathtaking views of the Iput River and other landscapes of the surrounding nature.

There is also the Bushuika, the noisiest bridge located near the miniGES. It was here that the first hydroelectric power plant in Belarus was built in the 19th century (1889).

In 1961, the Pharmacy Bridge was built, which now connects the center and the neighborhood of the paper mill. The Pharmacy and Bushuika bridges have a unique water intake system. Here, the Iput shows its power and speed, bringing down water from the edge of the dam. A pontoon bridge leads to a recreation area on one of the Dobrush islands with cafes, gazebos and century-old oak trees, where you can retire and relax in nature in the very center of the city.

The rest of the bridges have not acquired such "self-explanatory" names. Visitors to the city often arrange impromptu walks for themselves: Take a walk around Dobrush and try to find all 13 bridges. The Iput river is not navigable, but it has the ability to provide water for industrial production. A characteristic feature of the Dobrush section of the Iput is the dam. Four bridges have been built on it: turbine, wooden and two reinforced concrete.

The Iput has long been considered one of the most beautiful rivers in Belarus. Breaking into numerous sleeves, it weaves this small but cozy city like an openwork lace.
