Dobroslavka. Holy Trinity Church.
Among the Polesie forests and swamps on the way from Logishin to Gantsevichi, there is an ancient village of Dobroslavka in the Pinsk district. The district center is about 40 kilometers away.
During the time of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania, the place belonged to the famous princely family of Drutsky-Lyubetsky. In the 19th century, Dobroslavka was the center of a parish in the Pinsk district of the Minsk province. After the Peace of Riga, the place was part of the Polish state and was the center of the gmina. The local estate belonged to Vera Khamentovskaya and her sons Dmitry and Alexey.
In 1758, at the expense of Prince Drutsky – Lyubetsky, a wooden Uniate church of the Holy Trinity was built in the village.
During the First World War, there was a front in this region and heavy fighting took place.
In September 1915, the funeral service of Sister of Mercy Rimma Ivanova, who died in battle, took place in the Trinity Church.
Rimma Mikhailovna Ivanova (1894-1915) was a nurse, the only woman in the Russian Empire who was awarded the Order of St. George of the fourth degree. On September 9, 1915, R. Ivanova, during a battle with the Kaiser's troops, launched an attack on a company of soldiers, after all the officers of the company were killed. In this incident, R. Ivanova was mortally wounded. R. Ivanova was only 21 years old.
The church consists of three main parts: a vestibule, a prayer hall and a multi-faceted apse. A two-tiered bell tower is built over the vestibule. In Soviet times, during an ethnographic expedition, scientists removed the 17th-century Tsar's gate from the interior of the church, which is now kept in the Museum of Ancient Belarusian Culture in Minsk.
