The Church of the Nativity of the Virgin is an outstanding monument of wooden architecture with Baroque elements, built in 1740. In the 19th century, the church was rebuilt, but retained its unique architectural features. It is located in the center of Divin village. The peculiarity of the temple is that, contrary to Orthodox tradition, it is located with the altar to the northwest, and not to the east.

The Church of the Nativity of the Virgin in Divin is a monument of wooden architecture with Baroque elements.

The Church of the Nativity of the Virgin is a two-story structure, where the main volume has a rectangular shape, and the apse is pentagonal, complemented by two sacristy. It is covered with a half-dome roof with smooth bends, which gives it a special elegance. The main facade of the church is flanked by two square towers with faceted domes, which adds expressiveness to its architecture.

In the second half of the 19th century, a wooden bell tower was built next to the church, which complemented the ensemble.

Throughout its long history, the church has been repeatedly rebuilt. Major repairs were carried out in 1886. Further work was also carried out in 1892-1895 and 1899.

During the First World War, the church was damaged by fire, but the damage was minor. The Kaiser's soldiers placed barracks in the temple for three years.

In 1917, the church was restored again, and services were held until 1962, when it was closed for a long 30 years during the Khrushchev thaw. Sometimes the temple premises were used as a warehouse.

In the 90s of the 20th century, the church was restored and reopened to parishioners in 1991.

According to local legends, such famous historical figures as Tadeusz Kosciuszko and Alexander Suvorov served prayer services in this temple. There is also an interesting historical moment. On September 3, 1794, General Suvorov, after the battle, heading towards Kobrin, stopped under the shade of an oak tree that grew by the road, 3 km from the village of Divin. This tree has survived to this day, and next to it there is a plaque commemorating an event that took place more than 200 years ago.

Divinsky Church is included in the list of historical and cultural values of the Republic of Belarus, which underlines its importance for the cultural heritage of the country.
