The construction was completed by 1740 and, in addition, the Bukhovetsky Church was also given land. The church was built as a Uniate church.
During the time of the Russian Empire, the shrine was rebuilt and handed over to Orthodox believers in the 1840s. In 1884, Konstantin Zhukovich was appointed a priest in the Church of the Intercession, who immediately wanted to renovate the building. In the same year, 1884, the church was renovated and rebuilt according to the project of engineer A. Romer.
In October 1888, the church was consecrated in the presence of 7 priests.
The church was renovated again during the time of the Polish state in the 1920s.
The church was built in the traditions of wooden folk architecture. It consists of three main parts: the vestibule, the prayer hall and the apse. The vestibule is covered with a gable roof and is completed with a triangular pediment. The interior has icons and an iconostasis from the 19th century, and choirs are located above the entrance.
