Description
Everyone goes to the town of Budslav in Myadel district to see the majestic church. And the famous Belarusian actress and public figure Pavlina Vintsentovna Myadelka (1893-1974) was born in Budslav.
In 1913, Myadelka was the first to play the role of Pavlinka during the premiere of Yanka Kupala's play "Pavlinka" in St. Petersburg. She was actively engaged in teaching and social activities. She was arrested by the Polish authorities and the Soviet authorities. After returning from exile, she returned to her homeland in Budslav. She wrote her memoirs here.
She was buried in Budslav at the local cemetery. There is a large monument made of black granite on the grave.

Pavlina Vintsentovna Myadelka, a famous Belarusian actress, public figure, memoirist, and lover of the national poet Yanka Kupala, was born in Budslav, Myadel district.
P. Myadelka (1893 – 1974) was born in the family of an organist. Then Pavlina studied in Glubokoe and in Riga. Then in Vilnius, where she met Ya. Kupala, Jadwigin Sh, Karus Kogants, poetess Tetka, and other Belarusian national figures.
After that, she studied in the capital, St. Petersburg. In 1913, she was the first to play the role of Pavlinka during the premiere in St. Petersburg in Kupala's play "Pavlinka". During the First World War, she was engaged in social activities. In 1917, together with Magdalena Radziwill, she organized a Belarusian school in the town of Zhornovka near Osipovichi.
Then she moved to Minsk, where she worked as a teacher. She took part in productions of the first association of Belarusian drama and comedy. She was published in newspapers with her poems. In 1919, she was arrested by the Polish authorities for her activities. She was in prison in Poland.
After her release, she moved to Lithuania and then to Latvia. She returned to Belarus. She worked as a teacher in Gorki at the agricultural Academy. She worked in the Inbelcult.
She was arrested by the Soviet authorities in 1930. She was exiled to Kazan, where she taught Russian language and literature.
After being released after the war, she returned to her homeland in Budslav, where she wrote her memoirs.
