Borshchevo. St. Onufry's Church.
Between Vysokoe and Kamenets there is a small village Borshchevo, where a stone church was built in the 19th century. The temple is located on the western outskirts of the town near the cemetery. The church was built in 1840 from rubble stone at the expense of parishioners and the countess of the local landowner Pelageya Grabovskaya.
The parish at the end of the 19th century consisted of 887 men and 887 women from 5 nearby villages. There was also an Orthodox chapel at the local cemetery in honor of Saint Paraskeva. There was an Orthodox brotherhood and a parish trusteeship at the Church. Two parish schools were opened in Borshchevo and Khotinovo, where 87 boys and girls studied. There were two priests at the church: He is a priest and a psalmist. There were 57 tithes of church land.
Opposite the church is a two-tiered bell tower with an onion. The church has a rectangular plan and is covered with a gable roof. The main facade is decorated in the form of a vestibule risalite. An octagonal drum with an onion is installed above the main volume of the prayer hall, to which an apse with sacristy is attached. The method of decorating the building is combined on the plastered whitewashed parts of the temple and the walls made of natural stone. The interior is divided by wooden pillars into three naves. There are choirs above the entrance. There is a wooden carved iconostasis. The church has been renovated.
