BelGee opens its doors: industrial tourism in Borisov reaches a new level

A new round of industrial tourism: how the BelGee in Borisov is preparing to welcome the guests.

The Belarusian-Chinese BelGee  automobile plant in Borisov has announced large-scale changes in the field of industrial tourism. The company, which has long been a closed territory for the mass visitor, is ready to open its doors to technology lovers and travelers. The management of the plant officially announced the beginning of the development of the concept of the excursion route, as well as the development of a new direction for themselves - industrial hospitality.

Today, only organized groups can visit the production site in the Minsk region, and only by prior agreement with the management. However, this summer the situation will change dramatically. The company plans to completely reconstruct the showroom, which will be rebuilt into a full-fledged museum of the automobile brand. It is from here, from the new exhibition space, that the route starts for everyone who wants to get acquainted with the process of creating the popular Belgee crossovers.

The tour promises to be as immersive as possible: the guests will go through the key production stages - the welding workshop and the assembly workshop. The organizers took into account the specifics of the layout of industrial buildings and determined the optimal size of the group. In order for the tour to be not only interesting, but also safe, as well as comfortable for moving along technological lines, there should be no more than 15 people in the group.

For BelGee, industrial tourism is not just entertainment, but strategic communication with the audience. Currently, several employees of the marketing department are undergoing specialized training in industrial guide courses. They will not only accompany the groups, but also professionally talk about technologies, brand history and car assembly features, adapting technical information even for visitors far from the automotive industry.

The visit will end at the souvenir shop, where tourists will be able to purchase products with the BelGee brand name. This is an important step for forming a complete travel product: impressions of what you have seen can now be reinforced with a tangible reminder of the trip.

The management of the Belarusian-Chinese enterprise expresses confidence that industrial tourism in Borisov will take root for a long time. Moreover, the region offers unique prospects for the formation of combined tours. Just 30 kilometers from Borisov is another giant of the Belarusian automotive industry, the BelAZ plant in Zhodino, known for its giant dump trucks. Thus, tour groups will soon be able to visit two of the country's most successful automotive enterprises in one day, observing the full range of production: from compact urban crossovers to world mining industry record holders.

The development of this area not only increases the investment attractiveness of the region, but also promotes the popularization of working professions, showing young people modern high-tech production. BelGee is preparing to become a new point of attraction not only for car enthusiasts, but also for everyone who is interested in technology and the country's economy.
