Bolshye Krugovichi. The Obukhovich Estate.

In the village of Bolshye Krugovichi, Gantsevichi district, a park and a tomb chapel from the former Obukhovich estate have been preserved.  The Obukhovich family during the time of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania and the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth had great influence and possessed huge estates and possessions. And one of them was in Bolshye Krugovichi.

In the 19th century, a wooden one-story small palace was built in the town of Obukhovichi, which was adapted after the Great Patriotic War as a local library. The building burned down in the 1950s.

The estate had a number of outbuildings: a mill, a barn, a sawmill, a cheese factory and other buildings. A new park was planted near the estate, which covered an area of 5 hectares. There are several century-old oak trees in the park, some of which are already 400 years old. In addition to oaks, elms, maples, poplars, chestnuts and other species grow in the park.

The Obukhovichs burial chapel has been preserved to this day. According to some sources, the chapel was built in the 18th century, and according to other sources in the 19th century. The chapel was built in the classical style. It has a rectangle in the plan. It is covered with a gable roof. There is a basement under the chapel.

The 18th-century Orthodox wooden church of St. George, which was founded by the Obukhovichs, has been preserved in the village. Initially, the church belonged to Uniate believers, and then passed to the Orthodox. The church has the status of an architectural monument.
