Bliznaya. The Miloshevsky Estate.

The village of Bliznaya in the Pruzhany district is located next to the Ruzhany-Slonim highway. And getting here is not difficult at all. The 19th-century stone Orthodox church of Alexander Nevsky and the remains of the Miloshevsky estate have been preserved here.

The place was first mentioned in historical sources in the 16th century during the time of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania. By the privilege of 1516, King Sigismund the Old gave the town to marshal and clerk Bogush Vodoroslinovich. According to information from the inventory of 1604, there was a courtyard and a threshing floor in the village. There was a steward's house and several outbuildings in the courtyard, including a pub, two barns and a stable. The steward's house had several rooms, covered with shingles, and the rest of the buildings were thatched.

Since the 17th century, Bliznaya has been the property of the Sapieha magnates. During the time of the Russian Empire, the Bliznaya began to belong to the Miloshevsky family. And in 1890, the estate, along with the Beloe Pole (White Field) farmstead, belonged to Leon Miloshevsky with 3602 tithes of land.

During this period, the Miloshevskys built a manor and park complex in Bliznaya, which has only partially survived to our time. A regular park from the 18th and 19th centuries and several outbuildings, including a stable, a mill and a smokehouse, have been preserved.
