Ruins of the Church of All Saints in Begoml.
The ruins of the Church of All Saints in Begoml are an architectural monument built in the second half of the 19th century. The temple was built with funds from the treasury and donations from parishioners, which testifies to the importance of this place for the local population.
With seven domes and executed in the retrospective Russian style, it has long been considered the most beautiful building in the region.
After the Bolsheviks came to power, icons and interior items were looted from the church, the iconostasis was broken, and the belfry was demolished. In the 1930s, the church was closed. In the post-war years, the temple building was used as a distillery.
In 1991, the church was returned to the faithful, repairs were carried out in it and services began to take place.
In 2006, the church was closed again. Due to the lack of funds for proper repairs, it became unsafe to stay in the crumbling temple. Since then, the temple has not been restored.
Unfortunately, the All-Holy Church is currently in a deplorable state: its back wall has completely collapsed, and the building requires serious restoration. Despite this, even the ruins of the temple continue to make a strong impression with their beauty and harmony, attracting the attention of both locals and tourists.
This historical monument is protected by the state as an object of cultural heritage. A very beautiful and majestic temple!
He needs sponsorship for the restoration of the building...
