The Stanislav Laevsky Pharmacy Museum is one of the oldest pharmacies in our country, where the only pharmacy museum in the Brest region currently operates.

The pharmacy building was erected in 1936 by pharmacist Stanislav Laevsky in the Art Nouveau style. It is a two-storey building, where a pharmacy with the name "ReginaAphoteke" was located on the ground floor, and the Laevsky family lived on the second floor.

In the courtyard adjacent to the building, the Laevsky family set up an apothecary's garden, where medicinal herbs and plants were grown. Initially, four people worked in the pharmacy: the owner, two pharmacists and a nurse.

During World War II, the upper floor of the building was occupied by German troops, while Laevsky's family lived in a room on the ground floor. After the war, the building housed the city polyclinic, which functioned until 1946. In the same year, Stanislav Laevsky left for Poland, and his mansion was nationalized and again given over to a pharmacy.

In 1948, an optical workshop, pharmacy and sanitary stalls were opened in the building. In 1982, the information bureau of city pharmacies began operating here.

Today, on the ground floor of the former Laevsky mansion there is a sales hall and a museum, which is the only pharmacy in the Brest region with an exhibition of pharmacy business. During its existence, the facades of the building have not undergone significant changes, which allows to preserve the historical atmosphere of this unique place.

A visit to the Stanislav Laevsky Pharmacy is an exceptional chance to plunge into the history of one of the oldest pharmacies in Belarus. Here you can travel back in time to 9 decades ago and explore the former pharmacy of Mr. Stanislav Laevsky called "Regina Aphotheke", where a unique pharmacy museum in the Brest region is currently operating.

During the tour of the museum collection, you will be able to discover many interesting facts about the development of the pharmaceutical business in the city of Baranovichi, look into the pharmacist's office, chemical laboratory, see antique pharmacy utensils, books, as well as a real garden of medicinal plants in the courtyard of the pharmacy.
