Annopol. Radziwill Manor.
In the village of Annopol, Minsk region, a manor with a park was built in the 18th century by the Radziwill magnates. The park and the wooden utility building have been preserved to this day.
The estate was created on the banks of the Ptich river in the second half of the 18th century during the time of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania, and in the early 19th century during the era of the Russian Empire. A palace, outbuildings and a wooden church of St. Anna were erected in the estate. A park was planted and a pond was created.
The estate was called Krupitsa until the beginning of the 18th century and belonged to the Khaletsky family. Anna Khaletskaya brought her family estate as a dowry in 1747 when she married Albrecht Radziwill.
Albrecht Radziwill (1717-1790) was a statesman of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania, elder of Rechitsky, Major General of the Lithuanian troops. He owned a lot of property in the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth.
Radziwill renamed the Krupitsa to Annopol in honor of his wife. Then Annopol belonged to Dominik Radziwill, who died in 1789; Alexander Radziwill until 1863; Wilhelm Radziwill until 1883. At the end of the 19th century, the estate was owned by Alexander Radziwill's widow, Princess Joanna. After the death of the princess, the Krasinskys became the new owners of the estate. The last owner was Jan Tyszkiewicz, who was married to Anna Maria Radziwill.
The manor was created in the 18th century by Albrecht Radziwill in the Baroque style. A regular park with an area of about 4 hectares has been preserved to our time.
