Olpen. Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

There is a large town of Olpen between Stolin and David–Gorodok. A wooden church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary was built in the middle of the town on the central street.

Olpen has been known since the time of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania since the 15th century. The Lipsky, Shpakovsky, and Nakussky noble families were the owners of this region at different times. These places were visited in the 19th century by the classic of Belarusian literature Vincent Dunin–Marcinkevich, who found some images in Olpen for his literary works, including the comedy "Pinsk Gentry".

In 1888, the Orthodox Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary was built in the middle of the village. After the Great Patriotic War, the church was closed. In the 1990s, the shrine was handed over to Orthodox believers. Repairs were carried out.

The temple consists of four main parts: the vestibule, the refectory, the prayer hall and the apse. The church consists of three log cabins. A vestibule is attached to the main volume, which is covered with a gable roof. The main volume is covered by a four-pitched roof, which is completed with an octagonal drum with a helmet-shaped dome. Also, smaller drums with domes are located above the refectory and the apse.

The church has three entrances. The interior has a three-tiered iconostasis. A two-tiered bell tower has been built near the church.
