The oldest urban cemetery in Belarus was opened in 1792.
Grodno cemetery is also interesting because there are many more interesting architectural gems than in the old town: there are tombstones in the style of romanticism, eclecticism, constructivism.
According to Grodno historians, there are at least 1,000 unique graves in the cemetery.

The Calvary cemetery is the oldest in Minsk.
There are more than 30 thousand graves here, among which there are famous Belarusian artists, writers and poets.
The entrance gate was built in 1830 in the classical style and decorated.
The architectural dominant of this cemetery is the Church of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross, built in 1839-1841 in the Neo-Gothic style.

The military cemetery in Minsk was founded in the early 19th century.
Since the beginning of the 20th century, the cemetery has become an elite one, and with the advent of Soviet power, the elite of Soviet Belarus began to be buried here. 
Among the famous figures buried here are Yanka Kupala and Yakub Kolas, the first national poets of Belarus, as well as many others.

At the end of the 18th century, a Catholic Polish cemetery was founded in Mogilev. 
Old family chapels have been preserved here, including the Senozhatsky chapel in the neoclassical style, the Zhukovsky chapel in the neo-Egyptian style and the necropolis of the Tsekhanovetsky magnates.

The oldest cemetery in Mogilev was founded in the 16th century.
The cemetery has preserved a chapel and a number of pre-revolutionary graves of famous Mogilev figures. 
It also houses the oldest tombstone in the city.

The ancient Myshakov cemetery was founded back in the time of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania. 
There are a couple of graves from the 18th century, several dozen from the 19th and early 20th centuries. 
Prominent figures of Mogilev are buried here: party and Soviet figures, priests and nobles. 
The cemetery consists of two parts: Christian and Jewish graves.
