Tolochinsky region: Kamennoe Krivoe-Drutsk-Rechye-Tolochin-Goloshevo Monastery.
Description
We will begin our acquaintance with the historical sites of the Tolochinsky district from the village of Kamennoe Krivoe. Near it we will find the ruins of a 19th-century watermill. Let's admire the remains of the building and take beautiful atmospheric photos.
Next, we will head to Drutsk to a unique landmark - the only archaeological monument in the country where all parts of the ancient settlement of the early Middle Ages have been preserved in the form of mounds. We will continue the route by visiting the Homentovsky family estate. The ruins of an outbuildings and a tomb chapel have been preserved from the estate. We'll look at several graves nearby.

Then we go to Tolochin. It was first mentioned in 1433 as a city within the Grand Duchy of Lithuania. Here we will visit the picturesque private city park of Jozefpolie, founded in 1890. We will visit the Church of St. Anthony, the Church of the Intercession and take a walk through the territory of the convent. Let's go to the Museum of Local Lore, where we will learn about the history of the entire Tolochinsky region, about famous countrymen, and consider interesting exhibits.
Later, we will drive up to the abandoned estate of the Tyundevitsky family in Goloshevo and find the stone medieval cross "Baba" - an important element of local mythology and culture.
We finish our trip to the Tolochinsk region with a visit to the ancient Trinity Church, which was recently restored.
