The Smorgon region is full of historical sites and architectural monuments.Despite the devastating wars, many of the sights have survived to this day, although many are in ruins.This tour covers only a few of them.Other routes around the area are also available on this website.

We begin our tour from the ancient settlement.
People have settled here since time immemorial, as evidenced by the finds of archaeological excavations.

Voistom. The Iron Age Hillfort.

A beautiful temple with a rich history.
Although the first church on this site appeared back in 1440 and was repeatedly destroyed and restored from the ashes like a phoenix, and its latest version will soon be 100 years old, it remains unfinished...

Voistom. Holy Trinity Church.

The ancestral crypt of the Khodko family has been preserved at the local cemetery. 
It was in this crypt that the famous Belarusian and Polish writer and poet Ignaty Khodko (1794-1861) was buried.

The church was built in the classical style.
A two-storey bell tower has been built next to the church and a park has been laid out. 
The church is operational and ready to receive guests from everywhere.

Vishnevo. Church of St. Thaddeus.

The remains of the Gunter estate have been preserved here - a park with a pond and stone outbuildings with a Catholic chapel. 
It was a beautiful estate, where a cultural and educational environment was formed, there was a large library, famous writers and writers came to visit. 

Dobrovlyany. Gunther Manor.

In 1905-1911, this church was built in the Neo-Gothic style. The temple was built on a hill near the forest.
He is the dominant of these places. 
There is a stone fence around the temple.

A very atmospheric place that recalls the events of the 1st World War.

Zhodishki. Church of the Holy Trinity.

For a long time there was a regional psychiatric clinic here. 
The building is currently not in use, and the passage is closed.

The ethnographic museum and the Grain and Bread Museum are located on three floors in the watermill building. 
Here you can see the watermill in action with your own eyes, watching how the wooden wheel rotates from the water, how flour is poured from the millstones into bags. 
There is a very beautiful territory near the mill and a waterfall at the dam.
Attention! In order to get to the territory, you need to call the guide by phone in advance.
