Acquaintance with the unique heritage of the Vitebsk region: Sharkovshchina-Germanovichi-Luzhki.
Description
Sharkovshchina, Luzhki, Germanovichi are three points on the map of Vitebsk region, preserving a unique heritage.
The route starts in Sharkovshchina, where two contrasting temples await you: the brick church of the Joy of All the Sorrowful icon and the unique wooden Assumption Church, which has never been closed.
In the agro-town of Luzhki, you will be greeted by the pearl of the "Vilno" Baroque - the Church of St. Michael the Archangel. Nearby there is an impressive 19th-century watermill, the ruins of a synagogue and the functioning Church of the Nativity of the Virgin with ancient icons.
In Germanovichi, you will be enchanted by the Church of the Transfiguration of the Lord, and in the Museum of Culture and everyday life in the building of an 18th-century manor, you will immerse yourself in the history of the region.
This is a journey for those who value authenticity.
