Pukhovichi region: Maryina Gorka-Blon'-Shimanov Kut-Protasovshchina-Zamostye-Dudichi-Shabuni-Osoka-Dudutki-Dukora.
Description
Our tour opens with the palace in Maryina Gorka, built in 1876 by the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Russian Empire Lev Makov. In 1935-1941, the House of Creative Work of Writers of Belarus worked here, where famous Belarusian writers and poets rested and worked: Yanka Kupala, Yakub Kolas, Kuzma Chorny, Zmitrok Biadulya and many others.
Next, we head to the town of Blon', where we will visit the Trinity Church of 1826, as well as the manor house of the early 19th century, which today is a regional museum of local lore.
In Shimanov Kut we will inspect the winery's warehouse, which looks like a small castle.
A chapel–tomb of the Shestovsky family was built near Protasovshchina in 1860, which will be the next location of our tour.
Then we head to Zamostye, where an ancient landscape park and pond have been preserved, which were part of the estate of the famous Belarusian Yelsky family, built during the Russian Empire in the 1860s.
In Dudichi we will visit the settlement of the Early Iron Age, which dates back to the 5th century BC - 5th century AD.
In Shabuni village we'll see the wooden Catholic church of St. Roch, built during the Russian Empire in 1796 in the style of Belarusian folk architecture.
Next, in Osoka, we'll meet the wooden Orthodox Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, built in the style of folk wooden architecture in 1883.
The pearl of the tour is Dudutki Museum complex, one of the most popular museums in Belarus, where visitors can enjoy a fascinating journey into the world of ancient life and professions, tasting original dishes, a zoo and horseback riding.
We finish our route in Dukora, where we will get acquainted with another hit - the manor and park complex "Dukorsky Maentak" - one of the most interesting interactive history museums in Belarus, which aims to preserve the original Lithuanian (Belarusian) gentry culture.
All this and much more awaits you to meet interested and inquisitive tourists!
