A walk around the Mir.

Description

The village of Mir, located in the Grodno region, is known primarily for its magnificent castle complex, deservedly recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Nevertheless, you can find other interesting places here that will complement the impressions of the castle and allow you to form a complete picture of this place.

In this tour, we invite you to explore the village of Mir in more detail and explore its other attractions that also deserve your attention: Yeshiva, Trinity Church, St. Nicholas Church, Zaslavsky Chapel, St. George the Victorious Church., The estate of Zamirye Svyatopolk-Mirskikh. Do not be lazy to take a look at the mini-museum of the history of Mir "Mirsky Posad", located in the very heart of the village, near the main attractions.

You can also stroll through the center of the village and explore the beautiful old buildings built in the XIX–XX centuries, and individual buildings have been standing here since the XVIII century. They are mainly concentrated on the central city square on September 17, which used to be called the Market Square. Most of these buildings previously served administrative or commercial functions. They continue to play the same role today. Here you will see, for example, the Mir Hotel, the Belagroprombank and the Ragneda cafe.
