On the way to Sarya: Verkhnedvinsk-Leonpol-Bigosovo-Rositsa-Sarya-Osveya.

The first point of this excursion route will be Verkhnedvinsk, a city with a rich history located on the banks of the Dvina River. Here we will see the main architectural monuments - the Church of St. Nicholas and the Church of the Nativity of the Virgin Mary, and also learn more about the local culture on an excursion to the Verkhnedvinsk Museum of Local Lore, where exhibits reflecting the history of the region are presented.

Then we go to Leonpol, a settlement with a rich history. We will see the "heart of Leonpol" - the Trinity Church, built in the 17th century. We will drive up to the ruins of the estate of Lopatinsky, the founder of the village. To this day, the glacier and the buildings where the servants lived have been preserved, and it is also possible to distinguish the outlines of a garden laid out on terraces. Later, we will visit the main attraction of Leonpol, the column erected in honor of the adoption of the Constitution on May 3, 1791.

In Bigosovo we will see the local railway station, a unique architectural monument of the early 20th century, made in the Art Nouveau style combined with defensive elements. 

Then we will go to the village of Rositsa, where we will see the Church of the Holy Trinity, a monument of architecture of the neo-Romanesque style and a symbol of overcoming difficult trials.

The building of the Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary in the agro-town of Sarya is an architectural masterpiece that will amaze us.
