The Eastern cluster of archaeological sites of Belarus is a route that opens up to travelers the most ancient and significant fortifications reflecting the formation of medieval principalities, military power and cultural heritage of the region.  

This path runs through ancient settlements, strategic fortresses and places where statehood originated. Here, among the floodplains of rivers and hills, traces of the first defensive structures have been preserved, which made it possible to strengthen the borders of the Principality of Polotsk and the principality of Mstislavl. The eastern cluster of the tour allows travelers to see how the ancient Belarusian principalities formed their defensive lines, used natural barriers and built powerful fortifications.
