We are going on an exciting journey along the ancient road leading to Slutsk, a city with a rich history! This tour is a great opportunity to see the picturesque corners of the Minsk region, get acquainted with its heritage and be inspired by the beauty of the Belarusian nature.
Let's start our journey from the picturesque Ozero village, where we will see the Church of Peter and Paul, the construction of which was financed by Count Chapsky.
In the village of Khotlyany, we will get acquainted with the original five-domed Church of the Intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary, which was built in the 19th century with the money of the Zavisha family.
We will visit the ancient town of Uzda, where the historical building of the Holy Cross Church, the chapel-tomb of the Zavisha family, and the Church of Peter and Paul have been preserved.
In Grozovo, we will evaluate the building of the former Merzheevsky estate.
In Zamostye, we will visit St. Barbara's Church, an architectural monument built in the 17th century, combining Renaissance and early Baroque features.
Let's finish our trip to Pokrashevo. Here we will be impressed by the Art Nouveau building of the former Brovar, as it has managed to preserve the same architectural form as it did 100 years ago. We will also visit the museum of village antiquities in the town, which is located in a renovated building of a former windmill.
